Overflow is a large Christian event for students from across denominations. The event exists to impact this generation with the powerful message of Jesus through creative worship and biblical teaching. 

 THEME: VERITAS “And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.”  (NLT)  JOHN 17:3 VERITAS IS A LATIN WORD FOR TRUTH.  WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND TRUTH NOW MORE THAN EVER.  FROM “FAKE NEWS” TO SPEAKING “MY TRUTH,” OUR WORLD HAS QUICKLY BECOME FILLED WITH AUTHORS WHO LACK AUTHORITY.  A QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH LEADS TO QUESTIONS, DOUBTS AND CLOUDED UNDERSTANDINGS OF WHAT TRUTH REALLY IS.  THE WORD VERITAS IS FOUND IN MANY COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY MOTTOS, THIS WORD REPRESENTS A PURSUIT OF GROWTH AND UNDERSTANDING.   THE REALITY IS THAT OUR UNDERSTANDING OF TRUTH SHAPES WHO WE ARE, HOW WE LIVE AND ESPECIALLY HOW WE UNDERSTAND GOD.  THE PURSUIT OF TRUTH LEADS US TO UNDERSTAND THAT JESUS IS TRUTH.  HE IS OUR GUIDE DESPITE THE CHAOS WE MAY FEEL SURROUNDS US.
